Interesting theory. It makes sense except the Bernie Bros would still set everything they find on fire. He predicts the nominee will not be Commie Bernie or Sundown Syndrome Biden. It will be Hillary after a brokered convention.

I really don't think the Democrat Party will survive this. The Bernie Bros will leave to form their own party, or simply align with the existing US Communist Party. We will have a 1 party system until another one establishes. The Libertarian Party has been shifting left in recent years, maybe they will fill the void?

Who is going to step forward and be a real threat to Trump? Honestly the bench does not look deep. Yes, I have an obvious bias, but I am hearing similar things from left leaning friends. One person who is toast but doesn't know they are toast, is Elizabeth Warren. Even her home town paper is rolling their eyes at her.

With the beer vid — trying to sell herself as your average beer-swigging multimillionaire former Harvard Law prof who’s a champion of the middle class — Warren has racked up two strikes in short order. Three strikes and … it could be just Beto O’Rourke vs. Kamala Harris on the left side of the Democrats’ debate stage.
President Trump will undoubtedly enjoy tweeting jibes at any of them, but he has a special place in his heart for Warren … an easy target. You can say what you like about Trump, but he never pretends to be anything but himself — that’s what people either love or hate about him.
If Warren wants to survive 2019 as a candidate, she may want to find some better advisers who will encourage her to be natural and herself. The only problem with that? Pushing frauds and tall tales actually seems to be who she is.

What's lame is that they apologised. Weak. It's not a holocaust tattoo and it's not even much like one. But they can't help but apologise for what other people think they have done. Lame. That is their weakness.You couldn't make this up if you tried.
