Does it look Photoshopped?

Not to me but then nor does any modern photoshopping if done competently.

More salient is the fact that, if you are correct, Snopes lied about talking to the police captain.
Even if they are what you claim they are, that would be a very risky lie to tell and pretty easy to expose.

By that measure, Trump is also affiliated with the Democratic Party.

Trump never kissed a Exalted Cyclops Klan Recruiter and called him his mentor.

I shall never fight in the armed forces with a negro by my side ... Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.

Opinion piece by George Monbiot:
Yes, Donald Trump’s politics are incoherent. But those who surround him know just what they want, and his lack of clarity enhances their power. To understand what is coming, we need to understand who they are. I know all too well, because I have spent the past 15 years fighting them.
...

Charles and David Koch – who for years have funded extreme pro-corporate politics – might not have been enthusiasts for Trump’s candidacy, but their people were all over his campaign. Until June, Trump’s campaign manager was Corey Lewandowski, who like other members of Trump’s team came from a group called Americans for Prosperity (AFP).

This purports to be a grassroots campaign, but it was founded and funded by the Koch brothers.
...

I could fill this newspaper with the names of Trump staffers who have emerged from such groups: people such as Doug Domenech, from the Texas Public Policy Foundation, funded among others by the Koch brothers, Exxon and the Donors Trust; Barry Bennett, whose Alliance for America’s Future (now called One Nation) refused to disclose its donors when challenged; and Thomas Pyle, president of the American Energy Alliance, funded by Exxon and others. This is to say nothing of Trump’s own crashing conflicts of interest.

Did you hear that echo this morning when you woke up? That echo was from millions of collective groans across the country. Looks like Romney has flipped the script angling for a position in the Trump administration. From calling him a dangerous fraud, to his BFF.

Trump, don't do it. Romney is part of the swamp. He's the pond scum at the very bottom of the swamp.

Well... Looking at Trump's appointments so far, I'm not very happy. Former Goldman Sachs exec and IndyMac vulture who worked with George Soros for a couple years to head the Treasury... 3 anti net neutrality folks for the FCC... And a big insurance rep to head HHS. Yeah. A lot of populist talk, and a lot of very anti populist people moving into key spots.

Remember Trump claiming he'd stop Carrier from moving to Mexico? Remember Obummer mocking him? If not, here's the clip.

Well, well, well... What do you know...

One Carrier employee who’s a lifelong Democrat praised Trump, stating “You’re not even the actual president of the United States yet, you’re the president-elect but you’ve done more in your first three weeks of being elected than the current administration has done in the last nine months for us.”

Michael Flynn Jr sacked over ‘Pizzagate’ claims that led to shots being fired

The son of Donald Trump’s pick for national security adviser, Michael Flynn, has lost his job in the president-elect’s transition team after he spread a false conspiracy theory about Hillary Clinton that led to shots being fired in pizza restaurant.

While working for his father, Michael Flynn Jr tweeted an erroneous theory that Clinton’s allies had been running a paedophile ring in the Comet Ping Pong pizza parlour in Washington.

Even after a man on Sunday fired a rifle in the restaurant, in an incident apparently sparked by the conspiracy theory, Flynn said on Twitter that the fake news would “remain a story” until proven false.

The incident has heightened concerns about the incoming administration’s fondness for fake news and raised further questions about the suitability of Flynn Sr, who has also shared bogus stories on social media.

Mike Pence, the vice-president-elect, initially denied that Flynn’s son was working for the troubled Trump transition team. But on Tuesday he admitted on CNN that Flynn Jr had been helping his father, but that was “no longer the case”.

These guys are even more of a hoot than I was expecting.

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the whole pizzagate episode out of hand if I were you. Certainly based on your location the whole Jimmy Savile scandal and long term coverup must be fresh in your mind? I mean there has been a long culture of high profile pedos on that side of the pond.

I'd recommend you read the thread here on Whyzzat before forming an opinion. Consider the term "where there is smoke, there is fire" and see how much smoke is out there. The media is only focusing on Comet Ping Pong, but strangely not the Podesta brothers at all. Comet Ping Pong has some pretty sick shit going on that you wouldn't expect from a kiddie Chuck E Cheese type pizza joint it is supposedly. I know you probably won't go read that thread, so at least watch the short video below and tell me if it bothers you at all.

Does that make you at all uncomfortable? That band is Heavy Breathing, which archive.org has a backup of their site you should see. Still not uncomfortable?

Trump's win pushed this manufacturer to return to the U.S.

But in the final run-up to the election, as Trump beefed up his tough talk on protecting domestic manufacturing at all costs, Allain considered making a change much sooner.

"Earlier this year, we didn't think Donald Trump would win," said Allain. "But we closely watched his campaign and listened to his protectionist rhetoric. His win forced us to reevaluate our plans in China."

Now with Trump's win, Allain said the company is accelerating its move back to the U.S., with the goal to make all of its products in America within a year.

Trans-Lux's manufacturing legacy is embedded in 96 years of innovation. It was the pioneer of electronic ticker technology and installed its system at the New York Stock Exchange in 1923.

"When you say the 'Big Board,' that's us," said Allain. "We still manage it today, making us the longest serving vendor to the NYSE."

He may make America great again after all.

US Steel wants to accelerate investments, bring back jobs, CEO says

United States Steel would like to accelerate its investments and hire back laid-off employees now that Donald Trump will be occupying the Oval Office, CEO Mario Longhi told CNBC on Wednesday.

"We already structured to do some things, but when you see in the near future improvement to the tax laws, improvements to regulation, those two things by themselves may be a significant driver to what we're going to do," he said in an interview with CNBC's "Power Lunch."

In addition, the belief that the U.S. economy can grow at least 3.5 percent also adds to what the company can do, Longhi noted.

"I'd be more than happy to bring back the employees we've been forced to lay off during that depressive period," he said, which could be close to 10,000 jobs.

German firms including BMW pull advertising from Breitbart

Breitbart emerged as a rallying point for Trump’s angry “alt-right” supporters during the US presidential election and sees a clear opportunity in the rise across Europe of political parties promoting similar populist, nationalist, anti-immigrant, Eurosceptic and anti-establishment views.

Other German companies joining the boycott include Deutsche Telekom, which said it “absolutely does not tolerate discriminatory actions or statements” and its ads had not been placed intentionally on Breitbart.

The restaurant chain Vapiano also told AP Breitbart was not compatible with its values of “openness and tolerance” and they would take steps to ensure their ads no longer appeared on the site.

Latest loon for Trump's cabinet: Young-blood-loving, kidney-market advocate Jim O'Neill
Having chosen a climate-change denier to head the US government's environment agency, an opponent of minimum wage for the Labor Department, a creationist for Education Secretary, a mine-owner for Commerce, and a wrestling exec to oversee small businesses – president-elect Donald Trump is now considering putting a man with very strange ideas about medicine as head of Uncle Sam's Food and Drug Administration.

It is probably no coincidence that Jim O'Neill is a close business associate of gay contrarian Peter Thiel, aka the Only Man in Silicon Valley to Support Trump. Having taken a wild punt on Trump to win, Thiel has now become one of the Donald's advisors.

O'Neill is managing director of one of Thiel's investment funds, Mithril Capital Management, having previously been MD of a different Thiel hedge fund, Clarium Capital. He also launched the Thiel Fellowship, which pays students to drop out of college to take a stab at becoming entrepreneurs. And like his billionaire pal, O'Neill has some peculiar beliefs.

For example, he is on the board of the Seasteading Institute, which envisions setting up independent societies at sea, imbued with libertarian philosophies. That would ensure "freedom," according to O'Neill.

Far more relevant in relation to a possible FDA role, however, is the fact that O'Neill, like Thiel, believes that it is possible to reverse the effects of aging by, um, taking the blood of young people and pumping it into old people like them. Scientists think it's not that simple.

Do you a deal – $500 for your spleen

O'Neill also seems to think that setting up a market for kidneys is a good idea. As opposed to an absolutely terrible, appalling idea. "There are plenty of healthy spare kidneys walking around, unused," he told his Seasteading Institute in a speech.
