Fake News

I am enjoying every second of CNN's death throes.

The Liberal/Globalist propaganda ministers are whipped up into a fevered pitch today. Ever since I woke up this morning, this is the so called #1 trending subject on Fakebook.

Breaking News: Trump-Putin Shake Hands!!! ZOMGWTF

The insinuation by them being this is some sort of proof of Russia ties and they have the inside scoop on some nefarious activities. G20 Summit, US President shakes hands with Putin, yep, you sheeple are not supposed to look beyond the headline and think this is some sort of shocking revelation.

We're supposed to believe this is #1 trending subject, organically, on Fake Book? Pfft. I guess Antifa are truly that stupid but are your every day leftists that stupid? I hope not.

Indeed. I hear they even talked to each other too. Scandalous.

Good Lord!! It's worse than we thought!!

Why is Trump making agreements on behalf of a U.S. military machine he has little control over? Which parts of this picture count as fake news?

If, despite this agreement, the military that he can't control goes and shoots down another Syrian jet behind his back and against poor, peace-lovin' Donald's will, he might look even sillier than he already does.

He's still able to make agreements, it doesn't mean he can keep them. Politicians regularly write cheques they can cover. Announcing an intention is not the same as having the capability - but it sets an expectation and a tone.

Yup. And that is probably a thought that has occurred to both Donald and his opponents.

Announcing an intention is not the same as having the capability...

Announcing an intention is not even necessarily the same as having the intention.
With Trump this appears to be the case all too frequently.

Indeed. So what does Trump have to gain from war with Russia? There are others better placed to profit significantly more than him. Someone will need to cut him in on the deal methinks. Perhaps they have. I wouldn't know.

Who knows? What does he have to gain from war with anyone? As I said last year, I'm not even convinced he knows, but on several fronts he certainly seems keen enough.

Right, this. While his tone on Russia has changed slightly from when campaigning, his actions thus far have not. I think his tone change is partially just to take a shot, which has stuck, at Obummer. I'm sure he also knows Putin (and Russians in general) respect strength.
