Airport purchase, or simply a fascination with dodgy literature? :D

Steam-powered, you say? :pint:
A man who suspects the earth is flat has built a rocket...

... he hopes will launch him high enough to debunk one of the world's most fundamental facts.

Half a millennium of science isn’t about to get between 'Mad' Mike Hughes and his dream, and he's raring to go. The 61-year-old limo driver from California plans to launch over the weekend.

He built the steam-powered vessel using scrap metal and estimates it cost about about $20,000 (£15,000).

He plans to travel for about a mile at a speed of around 500 miles per hour, soaring through the sky above the Mojave Desert.

"I don’t believe in science," Mr Hughes told the Associated Press (AP). "I know about aerodynamics and fluid dynamics and how things move through the air, about the certain size of rocket nozzles, and thrust. But that’s not science, that’s just a formula. There’s no difference between science and science fiction."

'POUNDED' PornHub star Mia Khalifa receives a ‘pounding’ from WWE great Hurricane Helms after she slams Ronda Rousey’s switch to wrestling

A FORMER WWE star has spectacularly trolled ex-porn star and now sport reporter Mia Khalifa after she called wrestling “embarrassing”.

The sexy Khalifa, 24, was discussing UFC fighter Ronda Rousey’s move to WWE on YouTube show Out of Bounds.

Never one to hold back with her views, the adult movie legend said: “This is where her career will go to die.

“I have no respect for the WWE, its not a real sport. It’s embarrassing.”

But Hurricane Helms, a former WWE fan favourite, hit back with a knockout punch on Twitter.

And a host of wrestling supporters loved it as he referred to her exploits in the porn business.

He wrote: “I’m not gonna get upset that a porn star doesn’t respect Pro Wrestling. She’s entitled to her opinion.

“Our bodies take a pounding and well… so does hers.”
