According to Alaska Landmine, FOX/ABC reporter Maria Athens has threatened to kill Anchorage Mayor Ethan Berkowitz and his wife. In a voicemail, Athens is heard warning him:
“I will personally kill you and Mara Kimmel my goddamn self, you Jewish piece of living {bleep} shit. You have met your match, motherfucker!”
Athens also made an unsubstantiated claim that Berkowitz posted inappropriate photos to a website featuring underage girls.
“You’re also a pedophile and like little girls and children,” she screamed.
