Illegal Democrat voters still voting in Broward

why is it im not hearing about red loa raising all kinds of hell over this, in person, to the clerk and the papers....? fargin pussy... do something.... quit being a lame ass crybaby...

The Patriot Act was passed by both parties at 100%. The two Congressmen that opposed it got sent Anthrax. Dems and Republican citizens continue to complain. But again BOTH parties passed the renewal.

Though BSO alerted Dr. Brenda Snipes of the illegal voters,
Do you know what the protocol is in Florida for this information? It appears in Minnesota that the State Court System or the County Probation Department are the agencies approved to remove the names of felons from voter rolls. If this request came from the County Sheriff the names wouldn't be removed. Usually, in good faith, the Auditor would verify the list with Probation or the State to see if someone was inadvertently left on the role. Though I don't believe they're legally required to do so.

Turns out that incorrect felon communication was most of the .004% of the "voter fraud" in Minnesota. It appeared in many of these cases the State Courts didn't do a good job communicating to the felon that their voting rights were impacted.

In many European Countries (and I think Canada) felons can vote. Very few states (Maine, Nebraska, Vermont) allow felons to vote. Personally, I think losing voter rights for felons should be banned. Afterall the people are still US Citizens and the laws, obviously, apply as equally to them. They should be able to help determine their and their communties representatives in government. The net effect of these laws is voter disenfrancisement. And since minorities occupy a higher % in prision than in the population these laws also have the effect of having greater impact on voting rights of minorities.

Too late Fluffy, waaay too late. We've had to "show our papers" ever since the POS Patriot Act.

Just saying. They couldn't frighten you into accepting Universal ID cards when they waved terrorists at you, but little by little they can ratchet the population towards that goal by forcing it on kids by waving a few voting Mexicans and "felons" at their parents.

Here's how to do elections. If you are in the country on election day you go to the polls (paid national day off), you vote and you get a purple finger. If you already have a purple finger, no more votes for you. President wins by popular vote (therefore it doesn't matter what district you are in). All votes are on paper and counted by people out in the open where everyone can see and verify the result. Simple.

The more rules you put in and the more complexity you add, the more you can fiddle with the outcome - which is why they keep adding rules.

What I find interesting is Republicans are so afraid of voters but don't understand the real danger is in privatizing the counting by giving that to private industry. As I linked to in a previous topic on this subject the investigation that Republicans are doing on Voter Fraud has found 99.9% non-fraud. Note that it's the Republicans most afraid of this so their analysis, in theory, should be the most critical and therefore the worst.

What Republicans don't understand is just because a name is on the voter role doesn't mean that person voted. Only if someone voted with that name is there fraud impacting the system. Realistically how many felons vote anyway? We know from polling that the lower the economic scale one is the much less likely they are to vote. Which is why I've asked other right-wingers here if they have actual real fraud showing? Can they prove the dead person voted? And how often? Again I found this for them from within the own Republican research this is happening at ~.1% error, at most. Here in Minnesota for ~2Million voters it'll cost $80Million to 'fix' this? Republicans have failed to do ROI to demonstrate that the fixes won't actually worsen the errors by introducing new ones or by disenfrancising more voters.

Voter-ID is not conservative. It's reactionary fear and control, similar to the Patriot Act, with a solution for a problem that does not exist. The only benefit here is to Republicans who tend to win when the voters don't vote.

Voter ID doesn't stop the guys that own the machines from switching hundreds of thousands of votes at will. This call for ID is a fraud and a misdirection. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain - go stop poor folk from voting. Yeah, it's not the powerful people you need to be keeping an eye on, oh no, but the powerless. Make sense?
