Police Refuse to Release Video of Paul Pelosi’s DUI Arrest

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) refused on Thursday to release the body cam footage of Paul Pelosi’s DUI arrest because it could “jeopardize” the investigation.

“The Public Records Unit (PRU) has determined the Department possesses records responsive to your request,” the CHP said in response to a query from Fox News. “However, the Napa County District Attorney’s Office has advised the release of records would jeopardize an ongoing investigation. As such, records are being withheld pursuant to Government Code section 6254 (f).”

Authorities have not yet been clear on whether Mr. Pelosi has been charged with any wrongdoing, though he was “involved in a crash [and] taken into custody” for drunk driving in Napa County over the Memorial Day weekend, Breitbart News reported.

Mr. Pelosi was arrested after coasting his Porsche into an intersection near Napa Valley, California, around midnight on May 28. Mr. Pelosi was released from jail after he paid $5,000 bail.

According to the New York Post, Mr. Pelosi “could face misdemeanor charges such as driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol content level of 0.08 or higher.”

“I am Vice Mayor Beverly Perkins from the city of Pompano Beach. Y’all need to find something better to f***ing do,” Perkins says as she speeds off in her white Audi.


After the video was released, Perkins issued a half-hearted apology at a city commission meeting, according to WPLG Local 10.

“If any exchange on my part, the conversation with the police officer, is perceived as being disrespectful, then I do apologize,” she said.

Barbara Stern, an attorney for the Fort Lauderdale police union, criticized Perkins at the meeting.

“You were not gracious. You were not apologetic,” Stern said. “You were rude, unprofessional and disrespectful.”

In a Facebook post, the Fort Lauderdale Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 31 advised Perkins to stop driving like a maniac and seek anger management counseling.

Napa Prosecutors Walk Back ‘Boilerplate’ Drug Allegation on Paul Pelosi​

As Breitbart News reported on Tuesday, Napa prosecutors released the criminal complaint against Paul Pelosi in which it stated he had injured a driver “while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and a drug and under their combined influence.” On Wednesday, the prosecutors clarified that the word “drug” was simply boilerplate language.

“I believe that the drug reference is part of the statutory boilerplate language in the complaint,” Pelosi’s attorney Amanda Bevins told Fox News.

The “boilerplate” assertion was confirmed by the Napa County District Attorney’s Office office on Wednesday.

“She is correct. It is boilerplate language auto-generated in the complaint. Our theory is alcohol,” Assistant District Attorney Paul Gero confirmed to the outlet.

Cuomo reacts to FBI’s Trump search, demands DOJ explain Mar-a-Lago ‘raid’​

Former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is demanding the U.S. Department of Justice explain the FBI “raid” at former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.

“DOJ must immediately explain the reason for its raid & it must be more than a search for inconsequential archives or it will be viewed as a political tactic and undermine any future credible investigation & legitimacy of January 6 investigations,” Cuomo wrote on Twitter Tuesday.

“Raid” is the same word that Trump used to describe the FBI’s execution of a search warrant Monday at Trump’s Florida home. The FBI and Justice Department have not commented on the search, which is part of a federal investigation into whether Trump took classified documents from the White House after leaving office in January 2021.

The statement from Cuomo, a Democrat, was somewhat surprising after years of feuding with Trump, a Republican.
 
Paul Pelosi plead guilty and didn't get a felony charge. He basically got time served and 1 day of community service.

Not able to share any good videos now as they are being suppressed. This will do. This was a DWI crash with injuries, a clear felony.
