When asked about the fact that one of his tracks, Bristol Motor Speedway, was having trouble selling tickets for the Food City 500, Smith said they're only having trouble selling the large blocks of tickets to corporations they'd sold in the past. NAPA, he said, once bought 7,200 tickets for a race.

"They're afraid that Obama might shoot them or something," said Smith, after a reporter suggested corporations would experience backlash if it bought tickets.
