Oakland Metro Operahouse Cancels Marduk Show “in the Interest of Public Safety”
“In the last week we have read interview after interview with Marduk spanning over the last 20 years and found no statements indicating the band are white supremacists, nationalists, or anti-immigrant. That being said, we don’t want to subject our security staff, venue staff or the public to violence. Our staff is almost exclusively POC and/or LBGTQ and they have all expressed the desire to work, but as we are getting threats, we just can’t risk it. So, in the interest of safety, and because the Oakland Police Department would have insisted anyway, we have canceled the Marduk performance on Feb 18.

Third Arrest Made in Connection to Planned ‘Deploraball’ Acid Attack
Three arrests have now been made in connection to a planned acid attack on the “Deploraball” inauguration event that took place last month.
The alleged planned attack on the “Deploraball” inauguration event involved setting off butyric acid bombs into the ventilation systems of the National Press Club, who hosted the event.
According to a local Washington D.C. news source, the activists who allegedly planned the attack were members of the the D.C. anti-fascist coalition, while court documents claim that “The plan was to ‘deploy Butyric acid near the air ducts and/or deploy bottles of Butyric acid on the floor in order to cause the ball attendees to evacuate the building as a result of the smell.'”
“Police said a member of the group had purchased a ticket for the event, planning to smuggle Butyric acid into the press club in a purse or container,” reported WTOP. “Scott Ryan Charney, 34, was arrested Jan. 19, hours before the DeploraBall for Trump supporters, held at the National Press Club. He is charged with conspiracy to commit assault, a misdemeanor.”
In an undercover Project Veritas video, Charney and two other men were recorded discussing how to disrupt the DeploraBall with the acid attack, before being exposed and reported to police.
Paul “Luke” Kuhn was taken into custody after Charney’s arrest, while Colin Dunn, the third man, was also arrested recently.
The arrest of Dunn, who also purchased a ticket to the Deploraball event and can be seen in the viral Project Veritas video, was confirmed by law enforcement after inquiry.

Lawmakers probe US funding for Soros groups, left-wing causes in Europe
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban last week ripped the Hungary-born billionaire's "trans-border empire." Orban has been one of the central European voices speaking out against the push by E.U. leaders to absorb Syrian refugees and has been criticized for his hardline stance.
Soros' Open Society Foundations -- one of the billionaire's biggest groups operating across the globe -- fired back, saying Orban was trying to deflect attention from other issues.
“The Open Society Foundations for over 30 years have supported civil society groups in Hungary who are addressing profound problems in education, health care, media freedom and corruption," Laura Silber, the organization's chief communications officer, said in a statement to The Associated Press. "Any attacks on this work and those groups are solely an attempt to deflect attention from government inability to address these issues."
The group's stated goal is “to build vibrant and tolerant democracies whose governments are accountable to their citizens” but critics claim it's a front for Soros’ hard-left political maneuverings.
Former Macedonian PM Nikola Gruevski says Soros has a "decisive influence" on his country’s politics.
“If it were not for George Soros behind it with all the millions he pours into Macedonia, the entire network of NGOs, media, politicians, inside and out ... the economy would be stronger, we would have had more new jobs,” he said in a recent interview with Macedonia’s Republika newspaper.
Macedonia, while small, is a broadly conservative country. It has a flat rate tax of 10 percent, a small-government philosophy and a ruling conservative party (VMRO-DPMNE) that has greeted the election of President Trump warmly and pledged to work with him.
Lee’s staff recently met with Macedonia lawmakers, who also passed on a white paper from a citizen’s initiative called “Stop Operation Soros” which alleges U.S. money has been funding hard-left causes in the country -- including violent riots in the streets, as well as a Macedonian version of Saul Alinsky’s far-left handbook “Rules for Radicals.”
In an extensive 40-page dossier, the group alleges USAID money is being used to fund activists and exclusively left-wing media groups as a way to sway the country’s politics.

As they vacated the area protesters set fires in various areas. These were not leaves and compost being combusted, but noxious smoke was created as tents, and various temporary structures and housing were being set ablaze. It was a crude coda to a lengthy assault on the land by the people claiming they were there to save the same property.
You may have heard of a large amount of trash being left behind by the self-proclaimed do-gooders, but the numbers are staggering. For weeks already earth movers and hundreds of large capacity haulers have been taking thousands of loads of trash from the camp by the tons. At least one thousand tons, it has been estimated, so far.
Human waste is another concern, as thousands have occupied the land, for half a year, with no sewage. The entire reason for the governor’s deadline is due to natural concerns. They need cleanup crews to work around the clock to clear the area before the upcoming spring melt. The camps were built in a flood plain, so the filth and waste will need to cleared prior to the arrival of the water, carrying toxins down river.
There is one other challenge for both cleanup crews and the environment — abandoned cars and trucks. Estimates are 200 such vehicles are at the site, and conventional tow trucks are ineffective in the snow and ice. This creates the darkest of ironies.
Each year the Cannonball river — named for currents that are strong enough to grind stones round — floods this area with force. If unable to be moved these vehicles can be carried into the Missouri River, where the gas, oil and other caustic fluids while be sure to cause problems. This is the body of water protesters claim they are worried would be tainted by the pipeline. Now their motor vehicles may end up poisoning their very object of purported concern.
Oh yeah, right. Just like everything else about "liberals" their causes aren't really about the cause, it is about a narrative and control. You won't see this story on your 5 o'clock news.

So you would think the Democrat Party dodged a bullet by not electing a known Anti-Semite to chairman, but they followup my naming him deputy chairman? Shows very clearly where their priorities are.
