Get it on the ballot and pass draconian state taxes on millionaires in those states.
Seems a bit of a strange answer to me. Afterall we're a system that democratically elects representation. We've already empowered our representation to make these decisions. And certainly if 'will of the people' is the only direction for representation they should do this outright and immediately.

To roll with your answer what about the nation? Should we 'get it on the ballot' nationwide as nationwide surveys are indicating a clear majority want to tax the rich higher.

Faethor, does it surprise you that someone wants somebody else to pay for their own inability to set a budget and live by it?

That's why they call it socialism; its the Democratic creed!

Do you allow your kids to get away with it at your house?

The people realize that the politicians have been bought by the wealth-elite. They understand that the politicians keep passing laws that further benefit the wealth-elite and keep tax payer money flowing to the wealth-elite to cover their bad management of their own investments and companies. The people are tired of this behaviour and want the politicians to give them their money back. The representatives have not been representing the people who vote for them but the people who bought them.

If your kid stole money from you and then took it to a gambling den and lost the lot but kept on playing on credit would you cover his debt and then make him the head of your household?

A recent study in Minnesota indicated the bottom 90% pay over 12% of their income in taxes while the top 10% pay slightly more than 10%. The complaint isn't only about budget relationships. It's clear the top 10%, at least in MN, not only have more money they have more money due to a regressive tax system.

Do you allow your kids to get away with it at your house?
Fade are you really that much against your neighbors?
