Story makes no sense. I've tried to parse it a couple of times but it's gibberish. Anyone know what actually happened?

It is poorly written as is most stories in any Florida based publication.
Basically, cops operate a sting operation at a boat ramp for perverts. An old man is hanging out on a boat ramp. Undercover cops pull up and one waves at the old man. Old man drops his pants and spanks his monkey. Cop aproaches and tells old man to get on the ground. Old man ignores cop and continues to spank his monkey while starting to drool. Old man asks cop to "suck it".
You have to read between the lines a bit due to political correctness. Apparently this boat ramp is a popular spot for gay men to meet for casual sex. Police likely got complaints and set up an undercover sting operation. If it was an undercover female cop, they would have said it was a female cop. It's just like when a black due rapes a woman, they say police need your help finding "a man with a blue shirt" if the suspect is black. If the suspect is white, they will give a full description and likely a artist rendering. Political correctness is a bunch of horseshit.

So the cops were pretending to be looking for a hookup? They were parked next to Wilkins car. The detective waves and Wilkins, presumably still in his car unzips. The detective, who is still as far as Wilkins is concerned a guy looking for gay sex, "approaches Wilkins vehicle" which must mean gets out of his own vehicle and comes over to Wilkins vehicle. Wilkins thinks he's about to get lucky and says "suck it" to the guy he thinks is a gay guy looking for a hookup. At some point in time the cop who is playing the potential date confirms that Wilkins is being lewd in his car and gives some kind of signal to indicate to other cops that the guy has now been witnessed being lewd and can be arrested.
It's written to sound like the guy was beating his meat standing on the boat ramp and yelling at uniformed officers to "suck it" but if you go through it step by step it sounds completely different.

I made my great escape to Huntsville, Al in 2006. I had to move back to FL for work in 2007. I wish I was still there. Being the bread winner for a big family makes it tough to up and leave. We can't all move off to a sleepy little lilly white town
