Al Gore - sexual predator

"We were told the woman was not willing to be interviewed by the Portland Police Bureau and did not want a criminal investigation to proceed," Multnomah County D.A. Michael Schrunk said. The woman was reportedly considering suing Gore before last month approaching the National Enquirer, asking for $1 million for her story.

Well that's interesting. She doesn't want justice, she just wants money. Red, if you're telling me you believe her then you're just admitting that you're nothing more then a partisan troll.

I take sexual assault against women very seriously, regardless of political affiliation.

The Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office in Portland confirmed Wednesday that the woman reported unwanted sexual contact by Gore to police in 2006, and the prosecutor’s office was briefed by the Portland Police Bureau in late 2006 and January 2007.

At one point, she says Gore pinned her down, resulting in an injury to her left leg and knee, and which required medical care for several months.

Uh oh... I guess the police report should reveal all, including injuries sustained.

The woman, who says she notified two friends following Gore's alleged groping, also saved the black pants she wore after discovering stains following the session.

So Mike, you want to dismiss out of hand because of what? Al Gore's wealth or because he is such a wizbang good friend of greenies?
 
As someone who's spoken first hand with rape victims about their ordeal, I can honestly say I'm a little more then surprised that she'd choose money over justice. Typically it's hard for victims to come out and say anything to anyone, and here she is going straight to the National Enquirer of all places??? Something doesn't add up here Red.

From the story, she went straight to the police after the incident (back in 2006) but did not file charges. Rape victims often fear reprisal and do not follow through with pressing charges. It says only last month (four years after the incident) did she approach the Enquirer.

Clearly something happened, so I would not be so quick to immediately dismiss her claims. He checks into a hotel at 11PM under a fake name, had ordered and received a "three-hour massage" which ended with his semen on her pants. She also claims to have injuries that should be verifiable through police and medical records.

At the very least, he got rough with a hooker while married which could explain Tipper filing for divorce. I don't see any way for him to come out of this smelling clean. The question is whether it was really sexual assault or Al just getting a bit rough with a hooker.

If she was lying 100%, I'd expect Al Gore's lawyers to have immediately denied everything instead of no comment.
