Al Gore's failed liberal cable channel sold to terrorist network

Turned out the Al Jazeera bid was larger. Gore's allegiance, like many business men, is to making the highest profit available. Libertarianism at work - highest bidder always wins. The question remains if Al Jazeera will illegally hack phones.

Current TV was founded by former Democratic Vice President Al Gore, and was anchored by Keith Olbermann.

But Beck is considered to be a far-right fanatic, so the purchasing of Current TV didn’t make sense, according to Yahoo! News.

Having been involved in smaller than $500Million buy outs of companies the due diligence process for the $10Million company I went through took the best part of a year. If memory serves we closed the deal 1 year and 1 week after the initial discussions.

A good business man isn't going to say we've another deal in the hoper to the news media. They'll work on what they think is overall the best arrangement for the company, and of course themselves. Certainly the consideration is who has the ability to pay along with who will pay more. You want an investor with deeper pockets and a proven ability to bring the product to market. Al Jazeera has wider and deeper media success record, especially owning the media, than Beck. Al Jazeera has wider and deeper financing than Beck. And we don't know how much Beck offered but I'd bet it was less cash.

Just a quick look at the #s of the entities involved indicates to me that Al Jazeera was the fiscally better option.

Good lord. One of their reporters was a member of the democratically elected government of Palestine (Hamas!!!) and was arrested by Israel. Well, I am completely convinced now. And Ron Paul is a traitor as we all knew, hanging out with all those foreign propaganda stations. Yup. Accuracy In Media is obviously a pretty straight up unbiased organization.

But don't worry too much about Al Jazeera. They've been neutralized already. It's already become much more Israel and US friendly, backed the West in Libya and is backing the West in Syria (or ... is it just going along with the loony western plans because they know that the result will be more Islamic governments in the region opposed to Washington and London)?

The actual killing, yes, very much advocated for. Showing the killing and the burned and ground up corpses, not so much.

the 9 year old girl, was abducted from in front of her house in Manzoorabad in Rahim Yar Khan by three women and a man. She was taken to a dera, where she was raped by three men, one of them identified in the FIR. She was also beaten up before she was abandoned in front of her home. Her mother told police that she had found the girl near their house. She was bleeding and close to fainting. She said when she was taking her to the police station, when one of the kidnappers stopped her and threatened to kill her if she informed the police.

A woman should not report being raped unless she has four male Muslim witnesses who saw the act. (Qur’an 24:13).

” Then she entrusted me to them and they prepared me (for the marriage). Unexpectedly Allah’s Apostle came to me in the forenoon and my mother handed me over to him, and at that time I was a girl of nine years of age.” {Sahih Bukhari Volume 5, Book 58, Number 234}

Yes, now we can watch these cases showing the superiority of Islamic justice on Al Jazeera

Then after her trial and conviction, they can show her stoning too!
