All those in favor of stem cells

As the world grows it's clear if everyone on the planet lived like us in the USA the planet wouldn't be able to sustain that. It's good we do have options on how to bring food to others in a more economical and planet friendly way.

At present I'm more pessimistic - Most of the food problems are political in nature, rather than production. I don't see this changing anything. It's just one more factor for the state to use to control the population. We saw the advent of better farming through chemistry grow crops in such a way the planet could sustain more people. Again feeling pessimistic I think the same will happen. More efficent production means make more people further causing problems on this small blue marble we call earth.

Heh, nice. Not interested thanks. And yes, I do support stem cell research, because imo it's likely it'll be through that that we find a means to beat cancer. You can take your stem cell burger and enjoy it with your GM flour containing bun though if you want.
 
Great! The next thing is we are going to be eating soylent green!
 
There's also a movement going on advocating alternative protein sources. And by alternative protein sources, I mean bugs. Apparently, grass hoppers and june bugs are delicious. You can munch on those next time you're watching Monday night football with the guys!
 
Does it taste better than the crap burger?
