It's fairly incredible that someone could be kidnapped for a decade and found alive. I suspect a lifetime of psychological counseling is in order for these 3.

Unfortunately not everyone has been honest around this question. Noted Psychic Sylvia Brown the parents that Amanda Berry is dead on the Montel Williams show. Sadly the parents had the FBI waste time following up on this fraud. Sylvia Brown should be in jail for fraud.

Except that it might not be straightforward fraud. Much like pedlars of religion, whilst a large number are deliberate frauds, some of these so-called psychics actually believe their own nonsense.

A sad state of affairs but we live in a society that encourages belief in utter kiech of various sorts so there's no getting away from it.

It doesn't excuse one to believe a lie. Take for example Tobacco companies that still believe their products are healthy. In that case monetary damage was assigned to the crime of their false beliefs.

In the case of Sylvia Brown when we can prove that what she said is an utter falsehood and she claimed it to be true she should bear responsibility for her actions. Religion was smart enough to ensure one's reward didn't come until after death. Since no one comes back from death no one can prove positive Religion is a falsehood.

I'm not saying it does, merely that prosecuting fraud isn't so straightforward when the fraudster is as unaware of the fraud as the victim.

The crazy person can say crazy things. The FBI agents who wasted their time listening to the crazy person should be fired.

I think to some degree the FBI needed to listen. Simply to better handle the irrational emotional state of the parents. I'd be irrational and emotional to if my daughter was kidnapped. Why not have Sylvia pay for all the FBI time devoted to all the "leads" she gave them? I think that the least that should be done.

In case people with faith are asking where God was around this event... The answer is 4 doors down from the house where Amanda and 2 others were being held hostage is a Christian Church. The address is 2207 Seymour Ave in Cleveland Ohio. Put it in your favorite Mapping site, turn on the Satellite/Birds Eye view. 4 doors East on the corner of Seymour Ave. and Scranton Rd. is a church.

There's something you don't read every day.

Hats off to him and the other neighbor who responded to this situation.

Also, to lighten the mood a little...

Also note that there is a songified version of his interview on YouTube.

that stupid bitch who told Amanda's mother that her daughter was dead is getting beat up on FB

Good.
If it makes even one person question their belief in such nonsense, then some good will have come out of it.

And her excuse is beyond pathetic:

Only God is right all the time.

Yes, God sure was right when he decided to imprison three young woman as sex slaves for a decade and he was also right when he created the circumstances allowing Browne to go on television and tell her mother that Ms. Berry was dead.

That God dude's a hoot. Perhaps he is right all the time. If so, what a horrible c*nt.
