And it wouldn't be hard because they already make cars with better fuel economy.
 
I'd agree the USA needs more Diesels.

Chevy supposedly is going to ship a Cruze Diesel. Other rumors are Diesel Hybrids from Volvo. Diesels from Mazda and Nissan.

The guy is wrong the roads aren't only paid for from a gasoline tax. The General Fund covers some of the expenses too. While we'd like to think the automobile pays for itself. It doesn't.

The gallon is a measure of volume. It has 3 different definitions, Imperial gallon, US liquid gallon, US dry gallon

American's buy American cars? Haven't bought a American car since 1995 and not planning to buy another one.
