Americans should ask for their money back

Here's a great article that covers some of how the wealth has moved to the wealthy. Frequently this is unearned wealth too. When your money is working for you, are you working? If you inherit a fortune, did you earn it?

The American economy is sort of a drinking game - once you start losing you just lose faster.

As the article mentions, 400 people now own half of the wealth of the US. The rest are allowed just enough crumbs to prevent a revolution (so far) - but what happens when the market on wealth is cornered? The economy can't function. The money isn't there and the market can't run.

And, further more, each American owes thousands of dollars and who do they owe it to? Mostly to those same 400 people. America isn't a republic - it's an oligarchy owned by a nobility that will continue to do battle in the electoral realm as the party of the rich blue people fights the party of the rich red people.

When the US was founded the people's representatives were supposed to number one representative per 30,000. That should mean that there should be about 11,600 elected representatives in Washington.

But instead of there being 1 representative per 30,000 citizens there is 1 corporate lobbyist per 10,000 citizens. Those 400 people, they own half the wealth and all of the government.
