7 years for thrill killing. I'm surprised that anyone has been prosecuted for such a thing, after all, Blackwater guys were caught doing this sort of thing plenty of times in Iraq but I guess they had a special sort of immunity.

But mostly I'm wondering how many people have even heard this name or know about the case. I wonder because when I heard about it I did a google news search and found that the reporting was mostly in the print media and mostly from media outside the US.

He'd probably have been exhonerated if he was in the IDF.
