Despite all our best intentions we still cause unintended harm or fail to protect our little ones and that's just a fact of life because we have incomplete knowledge and some things are just unpredictable.
Now you have one more thing to feel guilty about if your kid was exposed to ultrasound as a faetus. It might have scrambled their brain cells.
Of course, the study is on mice, much smaller critters than humans and the eposures were longer so the effects would be expected to be more pronounced but that there were effects is troubling considering the widespread use and assumed safety of ultrasound.
