THE High Court, sitting at Nottingham Crown Court, is today being asked to decide whether a local authority – Derby Council – should a allow a Pentacostal Christian couple, who strongly disapprove of homosexuality, to be foster parents.

According to the Christian Legal Centre, which is championing the case of Eunice and Owen Johns, this is the first time that a court has been asked to decide how local authorities should deal with foster carers who have “traditional views on sexual ethics”.

From here.

On the one hand, its great that this couple want to foster. On the other, religiously justified bigotry is still bigotry and the chain has to be broken.

wow, it used to be the other way around. That if a couple DIDN'T have these archaic prejudices they would be bared from fostering children.
so things, slowly, are changing
