Anyone have kids taking Fluoride pills

When I was very little, I ate a bunch of my grandfather's heart medication because I thought it was candy. They ended up rushing me to the hospital to get my stomach pumped. And even though I was too young to remember, I do remember a few glimpses of horrified faces. Probably not the greatest first hospital experience.

That reminds me. When I was a kid, I was pretty sick with something and the doctor prescribed liquid medicine. I took it for days (a week?) before someone figured out I was given the wrong medicine. I'll have to ask my mother about details, I was too young.

Just a few months ago a local CVS tried giving my wife someone else prescription but she caught it right away.

Living in the Country we have well water. As such my kids brush their teeth and irregularly take flouride pills. I assume they're not Taxoxifen. The reason I say this is the pills are sweetened. One is meant to chew them then swallow. I've tried both kids pills myself.

One thing we'll never get rid of in society is the people. We are an error prone lot. I always do what checks I can to ensure it's the right medicine and ours. But, yes at some point we have to trust the Pharmacist is getting these sorts of things correct.
