Ahh cute Android ARM Cortex A9 platform. http://apc.io/products.

I think Paper looks inviting. It's a nice looking small case for these applications. Is ARM my new hobby platform?

I picked up a Strawberry Pi when they came out. Been thinking of getting a couple more. They're a bit underpowered for web browsing (they'll do it, but you'll wait bit) but plenty oomph for a lot of things and about the same price as the Arduino I picked up a couple of years ago. At the rate things are going they'll be giving out computers in McDonald's Kid's Meals soon.
 
Having kids (Glaucus will learn this soon) It is amazing to follow the improvement in construction and use of the toys that come in kids meals these days. The crap I got in meals in the 70s is crap compared to now. I wouldn't be surprised to see an 'adult' meal come with a 'toy' Rasperry Pi computer someday.
