Seems to be at McDonalds.
Not as good as the coffee shop up the street from where I live though.

Well, now that you've found the wifi hot spots, be sure to post some pics. :D

Ok wait a minute. You went all the way to Paris to go to a McDonalds? :whack:

I know. I feel shame.
There is supposed to be wireless in the parks but it needs you to set up a free account or something. McDonald's just has the "I agree not to be illegal" button and off you go.

Is this your first time in Paris? Been to the Louvre? It's cool walking around there at night. I only spent a couple of days in Paris back in 1999. Great city, would love to re-visit it and spend more time there. Didn't have time to see Jim Morrison's grave, maybe next time.

I made that pilgrimage. I have to confess to finding it a little depressing. My abiding memory is of empty, plastic bottles that once had flowers in them and tasteless graffiti.
The graveyard itself is worth a wander round though, and lots of other historic people are laid there.

On the other hand ...

I've just arrived in Geneva and sitting in a park (not sure of exactly where I am yet) and the free wireless is excellent.

:) Wouldn't that have been fun. But alas...

Left Geneve already and back into France. I didn't get any further into Switzerland than Geneve - didn't even get within the circumference of the Large Hadron Collider.

I'm currently in a hotel near the Mt Blanc tunnel. Driving to Venice today.

You can join the protesters at the Venice Biennale demonstrating against the exhibit by artist Maurizio Cattelan.

Or join Venetians protesting against tourists

Oh nuts. Now I finally get internet (five euro per half hour) on my last day and find your message. Too late for me to protest. Mind you, if there were anti-tourist protests (OTHER THAN GRUMBLING). Tourists far outnumber locals, at least anywhere that I've been so far - mostly english speaking, some German. Don't hear much Italian around here.
