So I was riding bike with my son, we were headed off to a store about half an hours ride away when he stopped for what he thought was road kill but turned out to be the back half of a cat - and it looked like it had been butchered.
Shortly after that we heard that a cat mutilator had been busy at work in a neighbourhood about an hours drive from here. When I heard that I decided to inform the police.
Now while I'm sitting here reading the news I see that body parts have been showing up in the mail but this time they are human - and among the bits was a foot mailed to the Conservative party. Usually they just wash up, but now they are in the mail system. There was a hand in the mail too, and a torso elsewhere. Weird times.
