Maybe I'm mistaken to put this in "entertainment" but I found it entertaining. I hadn't seen this in a while but my kids found an old VHS tape around the house and got a kick out of it so I thought I'd transfer it to the computer and put it up on the net somewhere. Now I need some victims to inflict it on. Go on - click "play" :)

Hehehehe.... very good.
Dare I say, Pythonesque?

"influenced" ???

you have huge chunks of snake floating in that soup.

the audio is crappy and it needs tightening up but it's strangely funny

I thought about doing a nip and a tuck here and there but ended up leaving it alone. It was a bit of a challenge to get it off the tape actually. The Audio is a mix of several attempts on several players. Most of the time the players would end up tracking off and loosing one or other of the audio tracks. Also something went badly off with the levels on the video in spots. I don't have the rushes any more but I do have tape that contains much "brighter" versions of some segments. Strange. I could have fixed some of this if I had some nice analog equipment in between the deck and the digital recorder, but once it was in digital there wasn't enough dynamic range to play with.

I'm not too concerned about it though. I'm just happy I found it.

Sir, it is nothing short of wonderful as far as I am concerned. I know I don't know you personally but I like to think I've gotten to sort of know you through years of cyber-jibber-jabber and to see that you were fundamentally involved in something so creative genuinely warms my cockles.
I appreciate that might sound a bit schmaltzy and apologise for that but if you have any other hidden gems, well, get thum telt!

I appreciate that might sound a bit schmaltzy ...
um ... 'specially with the cockle warming bit *cough cough*.

's funny that you mention the years of cyber talk because it's been over a decade, hasn't it? That's quite a long time - pity you couldn't make it for curry on short notice. :P

There may be a few more "gems" but I'd have to find somebody with a U-matic (3/4 inch tape) player.

Possibly inspired by the resurfacing of Brain Soup after many years, Owl Guy went rummaging in his garage and there, in the corner, in a dusty cardboard box, under the socks and festering footwear was a VHS tape containing the long lost only ever episode of Owl Guy and the Loonie.

absolutely OUTSTANDING!!! i needed a good laugh... and i got way more than that :D

I love the low budget set - 'film out in the street because we can't afford anything else'

ah, the memories. low budget is REAL raw film making :D

and the fake stunt fighting had me rolling
