Information is power and it cannot be allowed to fall into the wrong hands. Cecilia mentioned Harper's burning of Canadian fisheries data in another thread. Here is another travesty, a crime against history, a surprising trove of historical documents scooped up and destroyed. We will never know what was lost, and maybe for some, that's for the best.
