Hi guys,

Over the last little while, I've been thinking of making a change to this site, since it can't stay ahead of the bot problem and wanted to know if there were major objections if I were to start working towards "2.0" of whyzzat based on a new package (drupal)

I know change is difficult, I'm just asking to see if anyone objects before I have to put up bullet proof glass to avoid the snipers.

No change will be made unless I can save the existing forums/posts/threads as well as the user accounts.

Hasn't metalman spent the last few weeks complaining about change? So he may.

Whatever you need to do, I'm cool with it.

I'm sure this will mean I'll have to insert my pw (which I may or may not recall), but as long as there's a system in place to get it, I'm ok with any change

Go for it.

If it goes wrong you can always blame me !!

If it works don't fix it... but that's never ever stopped me meddling with stuff. :)

The problem, if you want to call it that, is that it could be said that it "doesn't work", as I had to long ago shut down new registrations because of spammers.

That leaves me with spending $180 on a REAL forum software (vBulletin) or going out of my way to install something a bit larger than just a forum software, like Xoops but not, to expand our minds while allowing others to join our quest for open minds.

In the end, I don't know what will happen. Exciting isn't it?
