Chilling, very chilling.

I saw that a couple of days ago and I wasn't sure whether it was a movie trailer, game trailer or a spoof - until I got to the end.

But of course they move towards the sounds of chaos - because that's where their bullets, bombs and shells are landing. A way of imperial tyranny to sweep away the non-cooperating local tyrants. (Cooperating tyrants get protection, of course).

Gotta love all that out dated equipment.

Can someone find in the US Constitution the USMC's job description that covers "silence tyranny and injustice"? They are there to defend the US and it's national interest, not Soros' Open Society.

Come on libs, where's the f***ing outrage?

Anyhow, that commercial is false advertising. If the USMC wanted to silence tyranny and injustice, they'd be headed towards Washington D.C. in the commercial.

Progressives are in charge, ...

This is not all that new. It's just cheesier than usual. And war mongering usually takes place through news channels - Fox did it for Bush, others do it for Obama but that's how Pravda works these days.

@Dammy

BTW, silencing "tyranny and injustice" is just a continuation of the war on terrorism and brutal dictators. It is a direct continuation of the Bush/Cheney doctrine and if Bush were president then Glenn Beck would be calling this ad strong and necessary against the hordes of evil Islamo-fascist terrorist dictators.

I'd argue ALL news channels did it for Bush. None in the MSM questioned going into Iraq. They all beat the war drums.

If you want to hear the outrage then all you have to do is to stop singing "La la la" and take your hands off your ears.

No, not really. All the libs I know and the MSM talking heads will either ignore it or use the "Bush did such and such first" stock answer.

It's not a wrong answer. The point is it isn't a wild diversion - it's just part of a long term trend. But here's what will happen. Obama will get another 4 years. By the time he gets out people who were 10 when he got in will be out there voting for the first time and they won't remember what came before (i.e. Bush). The guys who were 10 when Bush got in were 18 when they voted him out and they'll be 26 by the time Obama leaves. The next cohort will be the 34 year olds who grew up under Clinton and got to vote Bush in. These people still think changing the party can change the direction of the country. They haven't been around long enough to see how it goes. Those are the people who desperately need to be disabused about the idea of parties - but so long as their elders and mentors keep talking about arguing about party they'll continue to be mislead into thinking it matters. People need to get past the logo. It doesn't matter if the package says Camel or Winston or Lucky Strike - it's all RJ Reynolds (which is 42% owned by British American Tobacco so you can throw Rothman's in that mix too) and they're all bad for you.

Speaking of Pravda.

Progressives are in charge.....

Nearly spat some of my tea out there....

So that's what a progressive is? A right-of-center liar?
In that case they've been in charge of your country for my entire adult life.
