Why buy a Ford when you can have a Chrysler. Drive in luxury Chrysler ASPEN which seats 8 passengers and has a 5.7 liter HEMI with a towing capacity of 8900 LBS. It’s the difference between a shuttle craft and a Constellation Class Starship. Mr. Scott, I want full power NOW! Yeeeeeee Haaaw! 8)

Star Trek sucks!

Okay. That is what makes this country great, a mean spirited shallow comment. I happen to enjoy kissing the pretty alien chicks before I Karate chop them on the nape of their necks as I make my escape from the bad guys. Thank you for sharing. 8)

Why not buy a cheap-ass Tata Nano?

You'd likely get better initial build quality than a new Chrysler right now, too...
They've really gone down the toilet under Cerberus....

Out of the names bandied about I think Hyundai would be the best option (assuming one even wants Chrysler to survive).

:( I hate to see when things are being built cheap and sold expensively because of profit maximalisation. It makes our whole economy unreliable.
They've really gone down the toilet under Cerberus....
Eh? I am not familiar with this proverb. (yet I know what Cerberus is, though I don't understand it in this context)

Chrysler (with Dodge and Jeep) were sold by Daimler Benz to Cerberus Capital Management company. Cerberus is a privately held company, so Chrysler is no longer required to publicly disclose any profit/loss paperwork. It is believed that Cerberus has no clue about how to run an auto manufacturer and is now simply interested in selling the whole mistake to any buyer they can find. Needless to say morale within the Chrysler brands has suffered, and they are currently making products I wouldn't want to be anywhere near.
