One of the last games I really got into.

I was more into Populous and Power Monger by Bull Frog. Great games, and nothing quite like them has ever made since - that I'm aware of.

Have a look online for Widelands. Its an open source reimplimentation of the game and its actually pretty good.

I do miss the music of the original though.
