The sign in front of a BP gas station in Brunswick, Ohio shows the price of one gallon of unleaded regular gasoline to be $1.89.9 on Monday, Nov. 10, 2008. Oil prices fell to near an 18-month low of $60 a barrel Tuesday as hopes waned that a huge Chinese spending plan will do much to avert a prolonged slowdown in the global economy.

It is starting to look more and more like Oil and other commodities' run up was a classic bubble. Good, hopefully the world will take that as a warning sign and still push alternative energies such as solar and wind.

I paid $1.939 yesterday.

As for oil companies don't worry they announced production cuts before the election to come after the election. OPEC wants to see oil in the $80-$90 range per barrel. Exxon announced another worldwide historical record setting profit.
