LINk "Joe Zamudio was out buying cigarettes Jan. 8 when he heard what sounded like fireworks but quickly realized were gunshots. He reached into his coat pocket for the 9-millimeter pistol he carried, clicking the safety off...He lifted his finger from the trigger and ran toward the struggling men......As he grabbed the older man's wrist to wrestle the gun away, bystanders yelled that he had the wrong man - it was the man on the ground who they said had attacked them and U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords"

anyone who thinks having a gun solves problems is deluded

Thanks for the link Faethor. I like it when a gun related article actually tells both sides of the story. Despite the "could have... would have... should have..." by the anti gun types, what I read in the article was a gun owner who made the right decision, is willing to take responsibility for his actions (he could have just as easily never told anyone) and is a responsible gun owner. Nothing to see here folks... move along.... :pint:

So now I know how to draw you out, just mention gun control laws and you jump back into the fray. I thought you abandoned the forum, haven't seen you around in a while. good to see you around.

Oh, and just in case you missed it: GUN CONTROL

It's never been a secret that I take an (opposing) interest in any effort to increase gun control. I've never been shy on that topic. Still, it's nice to be missed. :)

I still stop by Whyzzat every few days but my day job is such that I no longer have the time to post. Besides, Jim is doing just fine without me.

GUN CONTROL?! Who said that?????!
