Metal prices are manipulated. It's a conspiracy. It's self reinforcing because it benefits the participants. But... there IS a whistle blower.

Of course, a whistle blower or two is not enough to unravel a conspiracy. It depends on how high up the conspiracy goes, who would be damaged by the revelation and how well they can a) discredit the whistleblower and b) curtail publicity.

Good on GATA for even getting a hearing though. Who knew they'd even get this far.

UPDATE!

Andrew Maguire, who was the man revealed to be the whistleblower on March 25
was struck by a hit and run driver on March 27th.

Police have a person in custody.
