And interestingly too - on a topic that usually is guaranteed to play well to a crowd that would be expected to like it. I guess he is surprised - he has no plan B (besides, it would probably impact his funding if he did).
For all that's bad about Trump he doesn't have to pander for money so he can hold opinions that most of these moochers can't and that's a good thing IMO. It's not about being wrong or right, it's about tearing up the script and allowing a bigger field of discussion. There clearly isn't a monolithic electorate all in agreement with the talking points as this episode demonstrates.

You're a year late and a dollar short Fluffy

that speech was September 9, 2014

The “In Defense of Christians” summit is a gathering of Middle Eastern Christian leaders that seeks to raise awareness about the threats to Arab minorities from ISIL.

The roster of speakers includes some of the Assad regime’s most vocal Christian supporters, as well as religious leaders allied with the Iranian-backed terrorist group Hezbollah..

the main difference between trump and the rest of these idiots is that they all agree on their racism and bigotry - trump is just louder and more obnoxious when expressing it

the values are still repulsive.
