Does it really take Republicans a year and a half to respond or do they just lack opportunities so they keep recycling the same thing for ever.
Interestingly, he has done even stupider things than this. For example, he has called the Iraq war a grave misstep, and he voted against TARP.
Apparently this video was a big hit in the week leading up to the 2010 elections - Hank won his seat.

After a bit more reading, it seems this is the guy the Dems put up to punish McKinney.

Scratch that. She was dumped in 2002 after saying that the Bush's let 911 happen to profit the family business.

OK, turns out Johnson has done something else silly recently. He has sponsored a "
Small Business Fairness, Transparency bill" which would mean that a publicly traded company would no longer be considered a "small" company for the purposes of government contracts. This will cripple the ability of mega-corporations to muscle in on contracts intended for small businesses. The nerve of the guy.
Though the above video does speak to the peculiar lack of general education. A man can get through law school and never gain any basic knowledge of geology and geography. Or it could be the result of suffering from Hepatitis C which he has had for over a decade.
