The work is moving at the speed of science. Slow. But that's not surprising when you're digging for long-forgotten answers.

I have never heard of this. After seeing this in the news below and doing a little reading up, I am promoting it to the forum. It looks like I am too young and on the exact opposite side of the state as I have never heard of this.

It looks like the cover up continues to this day.

Surprised you didn't hear of Dozier when it closed. I remember the news about deaths and beatings of boys at the school. They had refused to let them dig. It's good that the digging got started. The boys should be treated better.

Yes science is slow. The main priority is accuracy, not speed.

No, suprised I haven't. Marianna FL being in the pan handle might as well be another state (7.5 hour drive) and I didn't hear about the closing at the time.

So this chump Troy Tidwell is alive, among others, and the state won't press charges?

The comment section is interesting in these youtube videos. Some survivors and posting there.

Perhaps they had some "special visitors" from time to time. Some organizations have some pretty brutal initiations - it helps make sure people keep their mouths shut. Some bike gangs and street gangs have required initiates to kill or beat people to become a full member. Some criminal gangs infiltrate city hall and some probably go higher.

Shades of Franklin, perhaps.
