Republican John Thune, South Dakota -- " But I do agree with what Senator DeMint is saying and that is we need to try and come up with a way to pay for this $55 billion extension of unemployment benefits. We will be offering amendments in the Senate to do just that."

What? Like we shouldn't find a way to pay for 2 years extension of the Bush Tax cuts? An estimated $2Trillion will be lost for 10 years of Bush Tax cut. So for 2 years we'll need to find $400Billion.

So much for Republicans balancing the budget.. Oh yeah it's not November any more.
