NEW ORLEANS (Reuters) - A drunk father allegedly allowed his 8 year-old son to drive his pick-up truck on a southeast Louisiana highway on Saturday while he slept, until patrol officers pulled over the boy, police said.

At the moment a moderator or admin has to manually move it. Wayne may change that in the future.
 
I thought it was an option that anything that got a reply automatically made it? Manually eh? Damn :(
 
No one it seems was reading the news items, so rather than just blanket the forums with them, I was just using the incoming XML feeds to cherry pick what I thought were interesting news items, then hand-moving them into the forums you guys actually read.

If there's a better way, I'm all ears. :)
 
In my view of the news feed threads is just spam of news. In other threads many bring news and complain about it or brag about it. When I first saw about news feeds. I thought it was a good idea, but there were just too many. I just don’t bother to check the news feeds and I am sure I have missed a good news bits that I could bring it to others threads. How about ticker scrolling bars cross the bottom for news, so what news comes across may catch my eyes and I just may click on the headline news.
