Metal Massacre I featuring the first recording every by Metallica and their name is misspelled on the cover. Think anyone will put in an honest offer? I am only letting this one go for 30 days and then it goes back in the collection. Hopefully with the Big 4 concert at Yankee Stadium coming up a fan with deep pockets will want it :D

On vinyl - nice.

Why are you selling it? I'm ridiculously hoardy with my vinyl.

I could really use the money. If someone wants to make a beefy offer, it goes. I will not sell to a lowball offer. It is also hard to gauge the value of this so I may be asking too high.

I have started to add to my vinyl collection slowly, but mostly non-rare (cheap) albums.

Fair enough. Shame to see one of your treasures go, though.

Partly due to several years as a DJ, I have a ridiculous vinyl collection. Large portion of it is rubbish but I have an irrational affection for it. (Kinda like my Amiga collection, I suppose.)

Likewise, in fact I still go on crate digs and usually bring back 10-20 pieces, surprisingly, I don't have many double ups...

@Red...Any watchers yet?

Three watchers so far and I just listed last night. Not bad, unless the watchers are you guys:p

My collection isn't very big. I bought mainly cassettes back then to be able to listen in the car and I was notoriously bad caring for my records. Of course audio cassettes were probably the worst music media of all time so all those tapes are long gone due to the ravages of time. I do have a few dozen records left in good shape from my childhood and have added a few dozen lately. I am considering adding to this considerably. I like the analog sound and it is certainly a cheap hobby to have right now. I can find vinyl records in good shape at flea markets for about $1/each all day.
