Since I'm often accused of dropping the hammer on you guys without any notice, I thought I would give you a sneak at what I'm tinkering with to replace PHPBB.
Specifically, SMF, or simple machines forum software that was suggested months ago. It's a little less than vBulletin in both terms of cost as well as features, but it's free and looks like something interesting.
While I haven't done ANY customization to it, and this is just a sandbox, you can see the test install at http://whyzzat.com/smf (that is not a permanent link). Feel free to create an account to test it out and let me know what you find / think. I'm trying to find Meers / Jake to see if he can recreate the old Whyzzat logo for the new site and once it's set up and configured with all the options, ONLY THEN will I consider moving it to the live site.
I know Lee is constantly calling me grumpy, but I have a headache. I am excused.
Anyway, check it out and let me know what you think, just understand that you can play all your want, and it'll just get wiped out when I import all the current site's data in the future.
