Trump knows exactly what he is doing, and no it is not dog whistling to some shadowy "racists" boogeymen. Trump is not just playing chess, he is so far ahead of everyone else, he's playing 4D chess with 2 Queens while his opponents only have pawns on the board.

Worth a watch. Tim Pool is no Republican, he was a Bernie supporter in 2016 and cut his teeth reporting on Occupy Wall Street. He has this all nailed.

It’s Like AOC’s “Squad” Wants Trump To Win

The President’s tweets did something extraordinary. They made Nancy Pelosi come to The Squad’s defense. She had to give them her support, giving up even more of her authority over them and granting them more power. They took to the podium and demanded Trump be impeached (for tweeting?). Impeachment, of course, is something Pelosi has been trying to avoid since she became the Speaker.

Their press conference was the culmination of everything they have been doing since they arrived in Congress. They were the victims of the Big Bad Republican President. They continued to play to the very extreme. They wanted everyone to know their feelings were hurt. More than anything, it appeared to be a show of weakness as they stomped their feet like children because someone said something mean about them.

The American public is aware of Trump’s character. He is a known quantity. However, these four Congresswomen are becoming the most known Democrats in the country, and if you think Trump’s approval numbers are bad, you should see theirs.

The findings:

  • Ocasio-Cortez was recognized by 74% of voters in the poll; 22% had a favorable view.
  • Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota — another member of The Squad — was recognized by 53% of the voters; 9% (not a typo) had a favorable view.
Socialism was viewed favorably by 18% of the voters and unfavorably by 69%.
  • Capitalism was 56% favorable; 32% unfavorable.
  • “Socialism is toxic to these voters,” said the top Democrat.
That’s not good. They are scaring the swing voters. Trump is a known quantity to them. They know who he is. They don’t approve of his character or his statements. However, his inability to control himself on Twitter is nothing compared to the fear instilled in those voters when they see a growing trend toward socialism in Trump’s opposition.

Trump Is Not A Racist, He’s A Realist; Criticism Of AOC Is Warranted And Long Overdue

Even New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd gets it. Although she would rather stick needles in her eyes than come to President Trump’s defense, Dowd’s defense of Speaker Nancy Pelosi in her spat with AOC, would apply equally to the President in his feud with AOC.

In a weekend op-ed, Dowd wrote that AOC should consider the possibility that people who disagree with her do not disagree with her color.

Here is that opinion piece.

Scaling Wokeback Mountain

A.O.C. should consider the possibility that people who disagree with her do not disagree with her color.

Yes, I wondered if he was going to be able to get Pelosi to do that but she was basically in check and had to make the move but the party is in bad formation and they are moving from check to check. It's self inflicted (unless it's a Russian plan, of course) but Trump is a poo flinging monkey and he doesn't care if you fling poo back - because he's a poo flinging monkey. The old guard Democrats are trying to maintain a dignant composure while the kids in the party are stealing their umbrellas.

It's not that headlines trigger me, Red. It's that I expect a certain amount of courtesy from people making posts, particularly the courtesy of not wasting my time because they don';t check to see whether the links they are posting actually sort the position they are taking in their post. Unlike you, I read your links and when I find them irrelevant or misrepresented, much to my own personal distress, it taints my opinion of you. If you are trying to make a case to people who may or may not agree with you, you should at least put in the minimum amount of effort not to look like you didn't check what you were posting before you posted it.

Well, we should not act like Trump is the only poo flinging monkey here. He just happens to be the only one that is strategic and effective at it. For as long as I can remember, any time a Republican tried to have a spine, they'd be labeled "racist" or some other "'ist', and they'd shrink away like scared dogs with their tail between their legs. Trump gives back just as much as he gets, and sometimes more.

Anyhow to the larger point, he knew exactly what he was doing. That Tim Pool video is really worth a watch. Basically what Trump did was a HUGE misdirection. He fed into the narrative that he's "racist", by not actually saying anything racist, yet he is getting the 24/7 news cycle out outrage for mean words. Why is that effective you say? Everyone from Vox, to CNN, to MSNBC, to even here on Whyzzat are talking about Trump's mean words. We are not talking about what should be the bombshell news out there.

Trump moves to eliminate nearly all asylum claims at U.S. southern border

This would require asylum seekers to seek asylum in the first country they reach. That would bar all seekers except actual Mexicans This bombshell news is either ignored, or relegated to back page blurbs.

“Trump Won This One”: House Dems Are Becoming Increasingly Frustrated With The Squad

Jake Tapper and Dana Bash report:

…Some Democratic lawmakers are quietly expressing concern that far-left progressives have outsized influence in their caucus.

Several Democrats — from across the ideological spectrum — are growing tired of the repeated headlines involving four progressive congresswomen as the caucus tries to push its agenda. In conversations that took place before the President hosted a rally in North Carolina Wednesday night where the crowds chanted “send her home” in reference to Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Democrats said they want to keep the spotlight on the issues that got them elected, not a fight with the President.

“The President’s words and actions speak for themselves. We need to focus on the issues that got (Democrats) here: jobs, health care … instead of the issues the President brings up deliberately,” said one House Democratic lawmaker, who asked for anonymity to speak freely. “Anything that takes away from bread-and-butter issues is playing into his hands.”

“The President won this one,” said another House Democratic lawmaker of the showdown. “What the President has done is politically brilliant. Pelosi was trying to marginalize these folks, and the President has now identified the entire party with them.”

I don't know if ya'll have followed this whole deal where Trump called Baltimore "Rat Infested" and was labeled racist for it? You probably have, but I can elaborate if needed. Basically he said the same thing so many others have, because it is fact. Even Bernie has said far worse. Now it seems even Elijah Cummings has said far worse.

4D Chess. The Liberal Media and TDS crowd attack anything he says, and with social media, he facts get out there to anyone with a brain.
