Fox News massages the truth?

Say it ain't so!

BTW, BBC Scotland News recently did something similar to a football manager.

When he called them out on it, their response included this line:
"We accept that offence has been caused by an inappropriate edit in the piece as transmitted and for that we apologise."

I'd imagine that, if Fox were pushed, they'd use a similar "inappropriate edit" excuse.

They should have just edited out Bolton's non-answer and went straight to the boos.

The guy sounded like another "Jessie MacBeth' another in a long line of phony soldiers with phony stories

Phony soldier with a phony story on a phony news channel getting lied to by a phony diplomat (Bolt-On-John).

Even if what you say is true, still doesn't explain why Fox would fabricate edit "news" like that.

Guess that makes it OK then.

You must be their ideal target audience.
