The problem with hosting "funny" threads or forums is simply that humor is completely subjective and as such, is often likely to offend. Then you have to consider those who abuse "funny" to either push their own agenda, or specifically to push the buttons of others they know will take offense.

Most of the time, satiric or irony-based themes (and memes) aren't funny. Either that, or I'm just becoming the curmudgeonly old fart watching the young kids dance...
