I have 8lb of St Louis style Spare Ribs marinating in the fridge overnight. I have to get up early to fire up the crock pot so they slow simmer for 10 hours. I hope 8lb will be enough for the adults and older kids, not likely, we'll have a nice spread to go with it too. Overall we'll be fine. Come regular season portions will have to get bigger :-D

Aaah.. Football is coming! This is just pre-season tomorrow, so the food is just a warm up too  Anyone here do football parties? What do you cook?

Not really but I do watch (and play) a lot of football, albeit the variety where foot plays ball.
I'm just back from the first home game of the season. Luckily the stadium isn't far from my house so it's easy to get to the home games. I'll miss a couple when I'm in Canada next month but I'm hoping to catch a Toronto FC match while I'm there.
