Global warming a 3rd view

I agree Metalman predicting hypothetical future tech that would eliminate the problem is always diffcult. Thus, the best course at present is not to put faith in an invention that might never exist and focus on prevention to help minimize the current situation. AKA an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

an ounce of gold is worth 1725 pounds of CO2 (in refillable canisters)

the CO2 cost per pound depends on how and where you purchase your CO2, i.e. bulk vs. canisters and whether or not you'll receive volume discounts, much cheaper in bulk. (price range is $0.75-1.25 per pound)
