Focused intense ultrasound may be as effective as radiation or surgery at removing cancerous tumours but much less damaging to surrounding tissues.

I imagine that it will also be cheaper than either full surgery or radiation treatment (and radiation treatment tends to sow the seeds for future cancers).

Presumably this technique can also be used for other kinds of cancer too.
 
When I saw the title I thought that was your way of saying: Hey everyone, Warren Buffet has prostate cancer. Except a massive donation in prostate cancer research. But I think this is better. :)

I was thinking about Buffet as well.........of course he is in the early stages so he will be fine. And he can afford to go to a doc ANYTIME he wants so early detection for him is a given.

most people don't have this option
