Ron Paul brings more people to the convention, they vote out the chairman and vote in a new one. All completely by the book. Since the GOP elite don't have the numbers they use force instead and bring in the goons they've hired from the local police. The police try to make an arrest of the duly elected chairman who is handicapped and cause him injury for which he gets medical attention. The people vote in a new chairman and the delegates go mostly to Ron Paul. But why all the fuss and rough tactics if Mitt has the whole thing in the bag?
Fact is that the people are taking over the party and the elites just can't accept that their days are numbered. Kudos to those in the fight who have the balls to challenge the power that lords over their party. The people who claim to be Dems should be cleaning their house with as much energy and courage they seem too scared of "racists" and "homophobes" and "fundies" to be taking any action against the mother party.

All of which makes it seem odd that Ron Paul's son, Rand Paul just last night indorsed Mitt Romney.
Family is funny that way - kind of like Mitt's Cousins for Ron Paul.

However, how do you feel about the "leadership" of a political party using paid thugs to get there way when they are out voted by the majority of the people? Is that the kind of system you support?

I think it should be exactly what the party rules are for Louisiana.
Which by popular vote is
Romney-6
Santorum-10
Unpledged-30 (able to vote for whomever they wish)
I wouldn't change the rules for anyone. Unlike you, who would like the rules changed in mid-stream, and then turn around and blast them for changing the rules in mid-stream.
