And now for something completely nonpolitical! I don't know if I've mentioned since I've been back, but while I was away I became a grandparent for the first time! My grandson Christian just turned 2 years old last month. Luckily he is local and I get to spend a ton of time with him. I'll actually be babysitting him again tonight for a few hours.

He is such a character! A laugh a minute! He's the textbook definition of a little bruiser!

Being a hands on grandparent is a strange feeling. The parental instinct doesn't go away and you feel like it is your own child. Luckily being involved in his life I get an influence on his upbringing :-D

Any other grandparents here?

No kids here , let alone grandkids, but I see my nephews a bit like that.
They have all their very own different character, and the oldest wants to do everything I do, so he's already a real retro gamer (and Amigan when he's older, if it's up to me and my cousins )

No weans here either but I also have several nieces, nephews and a few great-nephews.
I figured with my sisters and their offspring squirting them out at such a rate, there was no need for me to join in.

My grandson Christian just turned 2 years old last month

My grandson turned 10 today. How time flies! I haven't mentioned here, but since this was originally posted he now has a sister. His sister will be 4 next week.



That's a pic of both of them from earlier this year. I'm lucky to have a really strong & close relationship with both of them. Especially my grandson since he was under out roof directly for about 18 months and otherwise was local with me watching him roughly half all weekends for his first ~5-6 years.
My daughter gave me these 2 beautiful grandkids. Now one of my 3 boys needs to give me some!
