Well, I'm gonna have to agree. He gave the stimulus to the wrong people. He should have just taken the big financial institutions into receivership and nationalized the whole situation. Then the government could have broken them up and parted them out, unwound the really stupid stuff and forced haircuts, and could probably have kept people in their homes too. Instead he fed the cancer. Then again - would he have lived long doing it the other way.
