Do you know what you call an oil pipeline that long?
A soft target. You can run a pipeline like that through Alaska because there's no-one really there. That becomes less true as you go south. It's an idiot thing to do.
They should pipe north and build an arctic terminal then ship it to Texas - or whoever else want is.
